On December 9, 2025, organizations from around the state are coming together to participate in the third annual Cover WV Day. Over 20 organizations are joining to offer free assistance to those who need coverage at over 50 locations across WV. Each location will offer walk-in hours where anyone can get questions answered or receive free help enrolling in health insurance.

Over 100,000 West Virginians lack health coverage. Organizers aim to educate fellow West Virginians about the different options available to those needing health coverage. WV Medicaid and the Health Insurance Marketplace provide options for most people without coverage. Typically, 4 in 5 individuals who apply for the marketplace are eligible for subsidies.
